A simple cubic house for a large family in the suburbs of St. Petersburg. Exterior finish - ventilated façade with a combination of plaster on cementboard sheathing and heat-treated pine battens.
The house is designed to accommodate a family of five, including two dogs and a cat. Adhering to severe budget constraints, the design takes on the shape of a cube, the most straightforward form for construction. The layout has been streamlined to minimize spaces serving solely as transit areas, optimizing functionality and space efficiency.
Total interior area is 120m2. The ground floor accommodates common areas and the master bedroom, while the remaining bedrooms and the study are located on the upper floor.
The house has shallow foundations, constructed using the "insulated Swedish slab" technology. The walls are made of aerated concrete blocks, and the roof is flat with external drainage.

1 - thin-layer plaster on aqua panel; 85mm void; façade membrane, 100 mm insulation, 300mm AAC, internal finish

3 - decking boards; substructure; screw piles
4 - pvc membrane, sloped screed, eps insulation 150mm, concrete slab 180mm
